u4gm What Are the Best Tips to Dominate Battlefield 6 Helicopters Guide

There’s a unique rush you get when you’re tearing across the sky in an Attack Heli in Battlefield 6, engines screaming and rockets ready. But that power’s nothing if you fly sloppy – this thing’s a beast, but it’s also a glass cannon. I’ve spent countless hours grinding mastery tiers and trying every setup across huge maps like Liberation Peak, and you quickly learn that you’re either the hunter or the wreckage. Even before you spawn in, it’s worth tweaking your settings. Turning on Helicopter Control Assist will keep the chopper steady when things go mad, smoothing out your flight path and making manoeuvres feel natural. It’s one of those changes that, much like jumping into a Battlefield 6 Bot Lobby, can instantly make the whole game feel different.

Loadouts That Actually Work
When it comes to weapons, don’t drown yourself in options – the right combo changes everything. I tend to run Heavy Rockets and the TOW missile. Light Rockets might look fun for clearing infantry, but Heavy Rockets hit hard enough to make tanks nervous. The TOW is a bit of a learned skill – you guide it as it flies, watching the exhaust trail rather than relying only on the reticle. Once you nail that, you’ll be cleaning up enemy helis and knocking out armour well outside their comfort zone.

Getting the Aim Just Right
Rocket pods aren’t all about spamming shots. You’ve got to think ahead. A climbing heli? Aim just above it. Runners crossing open ground? Lead them a bit. Firing in short, controlled bursts makes a massive difference to your hit rate. If you tilt forward too much, expect your shots to soar over the target – the game’s physics will punish you for throwing angles without care. Keep it level, keep it neat, and the pods will do their job.

Flying With or Without a Gunner
If you’ve got someone in the gunner seat and they’ve mastered the zoom-lock, they’ll shred infantry while you take on armour. Communication here is huge. Flying solo? You can swap seats to fire some cannon rounds, but doing it at altitude is risky business. Positioning keeps you alive – hug the terrain, duck behind buildings or hills to break a lock, and don’t waste flares just because you hear a warning beep. Wait for the incoming missile to be in play before reacting. Sometimes, it’s not just skill – having the right unlocks can be game-changing, which is why jumping into a cheap Bf6 bot lobby can give you a head start while you keep grinding the skies.
